Woman mauled by tiger while working at Gold Coast theme park Dreamworld

Gold Coast theme park Dreamworld has issued a statement after a worker was attacked by a tiger.

The 47-year-old woman, who works as a tiger handler, was left with deep lacerations to her arm and shoulder from being bitten at the Coomera property about 9am on Monday.

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) said the woman was treated by paramedics before being taken to Gold Coast University Hospital.
