Gold Coast centenarian keen to keep travelling as long as she can

Like many aged care residents, widow Thelma Halls will be spending time with her family during the Christmas season.

But her son and grandchildren, who live in New Zealand, won't be making the trek across the Tasman to visit her.

Instead, the 103-year-old will be flying solo from the Gold Coast to meet them.
