With coronavirus restrictions having eased throughout the country, this Queen's Birthday long weekend will be the first chance for many to leave their homes to get out and about.
There will be "mostly settled conditions" conditions across Australia, with some major regions experiencing a winter bite as temperatures dip into single digits and below.
"The air is quite cool and lots of places are going to have a cool but settled long weekend," Weatherzone meteorologist Craig McIntosh told nine.com.au.
"It'll be cool to mild for most places over the long weekend."
